GRAND ROUNDS
A 7 years old HIV infected boy presented with cough for 1 month which has now subsided. His mantoux test was also positive. There was no fever, loss of weight or appetite. There was no contact with adult TB. His Chest X-Ray was normal. He has received BCG at birth. A quantiferon TB Gold test was negative.
Should we treat him for latent TB?
