GRAND ROUNDS
A 6 year old HIV infected girl presented with low grade intermittent fever for 2 months along with pain and swelling in neck for 1½ months. MRI spine showed a large mass lesion involving the C1 & C2 vertebral bodies and occipital condyle. Mantoux test was positive. She was started on 4 drugs antituberculous therapy (ATT). A follow up MRI brain after 2 months showed near complete resolution.
