A 5 years old boy was diagnosed to have Burkitt’s lymphoma on abdominal lymph node biopsy. On screening for HIV, he was detected to be HIV infected. His CD4 was 576 cells/cumm) and HIV viral load was 958000 copies/ml. He was started on chemotherapy consisting of steroids, cyclophosphamide, and vincristine. He was started on Zidovudine (AZT), lamivudine (3TC) and Nevirapine (NVP) and referred for further management.
